What is the minimum age to work at Headfirst?
You must be 18 years old or have graduated high school by the time camp begins. {back to top}
What qualifications are you looking for?
Headfirst is looking for energetic, creative and fun-loving individuals who want to make a difference in children’s lives this summer. We hire people who have previous experience working with children or have a background in education. {back to top}
Does Headfirst operate day camps or overnight camps?
Headfirst operates day camps only and does not operate overnight camps. Therefore, housing is not provided. {back to top}
Is there an orientation or training before camp starts?
Yes, your attendance is mandatory at each of our training events prior to the start of camp. {back to top}
Can I work for part of the summer or do I need to work all of the weeks camp is in session?
For the consistency of our campers, Headfirst requires attendance for at least seven one-week sessions each summer. {back to top}
Is housing available at your camp locations?

Do you accept international students?

Is there a specific dress code?
Yes, there is a uniform. Headfirst will provide you with a staff shirt, a hat, and nametag. Plain black shorts/khakis shorts, socks and sneakers are part of the required uniform. {back to top}
